Keynote at global entrepreneurship week rotterdam

Rotterdam, November 22, 2019 Invited by Rotterdam Business School, Harmen van Heist gave a Keynote on the journey Rural Spark took and sharing thoughts on how to translate addressing global challenges into concrete business ventures.

With about 1.000 young students and entrepreneurs from multiple nationalities, the aim of the Global Entrepreneurship Week aims to inspire engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and investors.

Harmen started with sharing the challange and opportunities in electrification, and how we set out to design real solutions. We shared our adventures and challenges, which led to the creation of our design method ‘Hidden Designand the development of tangible tools people can use. All of a sudden systems emerged and access to energy became real.
